We are deeply committed to improving the quality of life of the aging population, who, through our services, have access to a variety of programs such as Health Promotion, Mental Health and Social Counseling, Nutrition Counseling and Education, Recreation and Socialization, decreasing the social isolation and improving their mental and physical health. All our services are free of charge.
This position involves preparing and maintaining daily logs related to Vida Senior Center’s nutrition programs, tracking data, and compiling statistical information to meet grant and management reporting requirements. Responsibilities include ensuring the safety and readiness of spaces for nutritional education sessions, client counseling, and community health activities. The Nutritionist will also coordinate meal orders and ensure compliance with nutrition standards, contributing to the overall success of Vida’s senior nutrition initiatives.
Vida Senior Centers is hiring for a Part Time Business Development Manager who will operationalize all aspects of Vida’s business strategy. The BDM is a key member of a multi-faceted team that drives the full-cycle proposal process (from research, capture to post-submission). The BDM will liaise with President & CEO, Board and Vida’s team to advise on new business strategies and go/no go decisions for bids. In addition, the BDM will work on the renewal grants for long-lasting current DC and other donors, as well as leading and/or supporting new business efforts, including marketing, pipeline building, positioning, capture, and bid management / execution. The position will also mentor and train staff at all levels as they undertake business development functions.
